A $27 million budget feature film, Spinning Gold is a biopic of 1970’s record producer Neil Bogart, co-founder of Casablanca Records. Directed by Neil’s son Tim Bogart, the film stars current artists playing iconic musicians from the 70’s. Rapper Wiz Khalifa plays Parliament leader George Clinton, Tayla Parx plays Donna Summer, Ledisi plays Gladys Knight and Broadway star Jeremy Jordan plays Neil Bogart.

Spinning Gold charts the rise of his Buddah and Casablanca labels in the 1960s and ’70s with a roster that included Donna Summer, KISS, Parliament, Village People, The Isley Brothers, Gladys Knight and Bill Withers among others. Randy Lennon Media assisted in financing the film and Randy Lennon receives Executive Producer credit.
